My name is Jeff McDermott. I'm originally from Detroit (Motor City or Murder City, take your pick), but spent all of my adult life in Savannah, Georgia. During that time, I was either a soldier stationed at Hunter Army Airfield, or as a broadcaster at one of the many radio stations there. I moved around a bit, but was fortunate enough to stay in the city I loved so much. I've played country, rock and adult contemporary music at these stations, but for the last 8 years, I was making commercials. Those are the things that allow you to listen to the radio for free!
After deciding that had done all I could do in Savannah, I decided to start at the bottom again by moving to Meridian and help out with a new station in town that featured a mix of songs ranging from 70's and 80's favorites, to the best stuff from the 90's and today. It's different from what you've heard before, with some artists and songs you like but don't hear enough of on the radio. That's why we call it the Queen City's best mix...and we hope you'll agree.
